New drill results from Aarnivalkea 💰
In this short update, I take a look at how my 3D model is changing based on the latest drill results from Valkea Resources' gold project in northern Finland
Just in time for PDAC, Valkea Resources released assay results from its flagship project in Northern Finland. Any good? I’ll have a closer look.
Valkea Resources just released assay results from its maiden drilling campaign at the Aarnivalkea prospect in Northern Finland. The company drilled six diamond holes for a total of 1997m testing two zones at the Aarnivalkea West gold project.
The best results were received from the northern, Koivu zone, where drilling up and down dip of a good historic intercept returned additional high-grade intervals, surrounded by broader zones of lower grade gold mineralization, returning for example 36.45 meters @1.50 g/t Au, including 15.35 meters @ 3.43 g/t Au, including 2.75 meters @ 12.92 g/t in drill hole AW-24-005.
Going forward, the company is currently incorporating additional structural and geological information from this drilling campaign into a new structural model with the idea to better target the highest grade shoots in a follow up drilling program.

The main part of the article, where I update my leapfrog project with the latest drill results, is for those supporting me doing these deeper dives 🐸 For those interested in learning more about the history of Valkea’s project check out the free intro in my previous article.
